Yesterday it was time for the annual egg oiling. Keeps them fresh longer, unless we run out of course. These days they come pre-oiled but we give them another oiling and turn them upside down. We’ll see how long they last this year.

I wonder what kind of oil you guys use. I know that vegetables are often covered with some kind of petroleum based wax in grocery stores. I think it’s called paraffin?
