Mark,

The aerial panoramas are all taken with a 180° fisheye lens and consist of only two images, one up and one down. Of course they can be remapped to a rectangular projection. The panorama in the page header was actually taken by Dana Hrubes. He was nice enough to give me permission to use it. However, I do have a large number of panoramas that are not posted here. I liked Dana's because the color tone is a nice fit for this site's theme.

If you want to use any of the images commercially please contact me via private email at steffen | at | adventure-antarctica.de.

Hello, Steffan.

Great looking panorama work. Is there a flat (non-VR) image available (perhaps the image you used to make the flash VR?) And did you take the pan you use at the top of the page? Is it available in higher resolution too?

Thank you for the postings!
